The festive season wouldn't be the same without a beautiful Christmas tree - but after the holidays are over, what do you do with it?

Worry not, as Garden House Hospice Care's Christmas 'Treecycling' service is returning.

For the fourth year running, a team of volunteers will travel across north Herts and surrounding areas collecting Christmas trees to recycle in exchange for a donation to the hospice.

So, no more needles all over your car as you attempt to wrestle your tree into the boot - just simple sustainability, with all trees chipped and donated to use in the playgrounds of local schools.

In the process you will have contributed massively to helping care for patients and their families at a very difficult time in their lives.

To find out what areas we'll be collecting in and to book your tree collection, visit their website here

The hospice would also like to hear from you if you have a large van or trailer, and would like to help them collect the trees. If you fit the bill email [email protected].
