We had a wonderful response to our Father's Day competition and hope all dads enjoyed their special day.

Across the nationwide range of Nub News sites we were able to share many great stories.

And locally we were touched by the lovely picture sent in by Siobhan McManus who recalled her dad, saying: "There are so many photos and moments of my dad which are memorable but it has to be this photo of him dancing at my wedding! He is always the life and soul of every party."

And there were foodie memories from Sue Matejtschuk who sent in the following message: "Memories of my late father- His favourite food were 'stoppage rolls' and 'pig pies', he sweetened his wine with sugar and his usual joke weather forecast was 'We're all going to get wet and have the wind! ' RIP Pops!"

We are delighted to acknowledge those wonderful memories with £50 Co-op vouchers so Siobhan and Sue can celebrate with their families.
