Who are our Angels?

Our Angels are our team of home carers. They love caring for our Clients in their own homes and have their best interests at heart. They understand the need for dignity, choice and compassion and provide a high standard of care. They do a dedicated job and go above and beyond to ensure our Clients remain supported, as independent as possible, and safe at home.

Our Angels do not wear a uniform but they are all smartly dressed. If we escort you to the shops or an appointment, our Angels do not look like a home carer support; they often look like a granddaughter, daughter, relative, or friend who are assisting you which allows much more dignity.

All our Angels undergo a thorough profile check along with a stringent recruitment process before they attend full training. They are also DBS checked and references are provided and checked.

Our ethos is being Carer-Centric which means our Angels are always at the heart of our team and business. They are respected and valued and are not just a number to us – we make time to know each one of them personally, and each one is welcomed into our working Visiting Angels family and encouraged to develop their pathway in care. We run a reward program -Angel of the Month and Angel of the Year, where the nominated Angels are rewarded and recognised for their dedication. In return they are appreciated with team kindness and gifts.

We provide our Angels with ongoing training for their development so they can succeed in delivering a high level of care. We also offer the opportunity of career progression within the business. Caring for our Angels means we retain our staff and strong bonds are formed with our Clients. After all, if we want to be outstanding in the care we give to our Clients, we need to be outstanding in the care we give to our team too!

At our office, the kettle is always on boil and there is always a slice of cake and other goodies – 'Angel Appetizers' to be found. We welcome all visitors to the office which includes Clients and Angels!
