This role offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of clients, gaining experience in both accounts preparation and tax compliance, while developing your technical skills and career.Key Responsibilities of the Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior or Senior:
- Preparation of accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Handling tax compliance for individuals and businesses, including self-assessment and corporation tax returns.
- Assisting with VAT returns and payroll where required.
- Supporting senior team members with client queries and accounting projects.
- Reviewing work of junior staff and mentoring where applicable.
- Maintaining client relationships and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and tax compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
- Professional manner and strong communication skills.
