Stores Operative (EXPIRED)

Our Client in Hitchin is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to start with them on a temporary basis with the potential to go permanent.
This position is primarily a Store positions and as such requires someone with previous warehouse stores experience along with good IT skills.
- You will be responsible for general stores management, receiving goods inwards and preparing despatches of goods outwards.
- Monitoring and logging all stock locations
- ensuring first in first out goods control
- Packing of out going goods
- Preparing and processing requisitions
- Maintain accurate shipment records
- Maintain supplier rating system
- Help with Stores/warehouse reorganisation and layout activities
- Ideally have knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- Have previous stores experience
- Maintain inventory accuracy in everything you do
- Cover for Team Members during absence or breaks where required
- Accountable for ownership of all storage areas including active housekeeping inline with 5S process.

Hours are 7.30am-4.30pm Monday-Thursday and 7.30am-12.30pm Friday.
Pay is £13.70 per hour.
