Hitchin MP Bim Afolami has confirmed to Nub News he is awaiting Sue Gray's report before commenting further.

Ms Gray is the senior civil servant in charge of the keenly-awaited report into gatherings held at No 10 in the pandemic.

With voters up and down the country - including many in the Hitchin and Harpenden constituency - patiently waiting for Gray's report into lockdown parties at Downing Street, Mr Afolami has confirmed to Nub News he will not make a full statement on the Prime Minister Boris Johnson until the dossier is released.

"I am still waiting for the Sue Gray report," Hitchin's Parliamentarian told Nub News on Wednesday afternoon, adding: "And will comment once it has been published and I have had time to consider its contents in full."
