As a second lockdown looms here's Hitchin town centre boss Tom Hardy to give an update to BID businesses.

Read on for what Tom has to say to Hitchin town centre businesses ahead of Thursday's shutdown.

As our newsletter (printed last week) makes its way around the town centre today, highlighting positive progress, we are now facing another national lockdown.

I have been on the phone with our MP Bim Afolami this morning asking for some early information on business support which I am told will be released tomorrow.

Many of you financially rely on this time of year and I have stresses this to the MP that any additional grant support should reflect this loss.

Over the coming days and weeks, I will be working closely with our MP and North Herts Council to relay information on support and guidance.

Please be aware that I am here to take your emails to [email protected] or calls on 07597380818 any time.
