It feels good to be back - so says the owner of a renowned Hitchin clothes shop.

As lockdown eases after 13 months of shutdowns, popular town centre boutique Rubarb has once again opened its doors this week.

After reopening on Monday, the acclaimed independent boutique in Churchyard run by the popular Pooja, hailed loyal customers on their Instagram account.

"Well, what an amazing first day back, so lovely to see so many of you! Feels good to be back!"
