Hitchin has had its fair share of famous people.
From Jack Wilshere to James Bay, a number of big names have been born here, lived here or went to school in the town.
But of all these famous faces who can claim to be the most looked-up on Wikipedia?
Wikipedia is often the go-to website on finding out facts about famous people - whether it's their age, what they've been in or where they are from.
This handy map of the UK lets you see the most wikipedia'd person from each town.
So what about Hitchin?
Well the late Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother is the most Wikipedia'd person from the town according to the map.
Not a complete surprise given her birth was registered in Hitchin and the fact she also spent a lot of her childhood at nearby St Paul's Walden Bury - which was given as her birthplace in the 1901 census.
We also suspect becoming Hitchin's most Wiki'd person could also be thanks to a resurgence in interest in the Royal Family through Netflix's top rated box set The Crown.
..............
.............. Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon (4 August 1900 – 30 March 2002) was the wife of King George VI, and the mother of Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret. She was Queen of the United Kingdom and the Dominions from her husband's accession in 1936 until his death in 1952, after which she was known as Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother to avoid confusion with her daughter - who remains Queen to this day.
