Plenty of famous people hail from the town of Stevenage.

From former Manchester United and England attacker Ashley Young to journalist, author, broadcaster and academic Gary Younge, a number of big names are from Stevenage.

You might also recall Stevenage singer Gabz, who reached the final of the seventh series of Britain's Got Talent in 2013.

But of all these famous faces who can claim to be the most looked-up on Wikipedia?

Wikipedia is often the go-to website on finding out facts about famous people - whether it's their age, what they've been in or where they are from.

So what about Stevenage?

Well, as you've probably guessed, the most Wiki'd name from the town is F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton.

The seven times world champ was born at the Lister Hospital and went to school at John Henry Newman.

Hamilton enjoyed a successful ascent up the racing ladder and signed to the McLaren young driver programme in 1998.

It set in motion a hugely successful career proving himself at the top level of one of the most dangerous sports on the planet, claiming his seventh world crown last month in a Mercedes.
