Hitchin Rock Choir turns 15

Hitchin Rock choir turns 15 years old - we have been a part of the Hitchin community for all these years and still have several original members who are just as enthusiastic from day one as they are today about singing with Rock Choir.
We are seen performing in and around Hitchin. The first ever song Hitchin Rock Choir learnt was "Oh Happy Day". Our first leader was Jamie who now lives in Canada and still has a passion for music as he continues to conduct & teach many choirs.
Today the Hitchin choir, of 90 voices, is led by Mr Rob Baker. During the summer he took Hitchin choir alongside many other rock choir from across the country, to perform at The Edinburgh Fringe.
Rock Choir is a National Contemporary Choir that requires no auditions - just welcomes anyone with a love for singing!
Hitchin Rock Choir meet on a Tuesday evening during term time at The Priory School in Hitchin at 7.30pm- and welcome people to book their free taster session at http://www.rockchoir.com or just turn up at our rehearsal.
