Toastmasters is an internation charity that helps people to master public speaking. But it doesn't just help with public speaking, not at all!

Toastmasters trains people to communicate more effectively and listen more intently.

How does this help people in our local community?

It helps people with their work by giving them the skills and confidence to excel in:

• interviews
• meetings
• business presentations
• giving effective feedback
• promoting their own business
• public speaking
• conflict resolution
• leadership

But more importantly, our members have gained confidence and found support from our club to realise their own self improvement goals.

I've met some very interesting people who have become good friends. Because becoming a Toastmaster is more than just going on a public speaking course, it is a community.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month.
