There have been long delays on the A1(M) in north Herts this morning - which is still ongoing.

Heavy delays have been reported around junction seven of the A1M southbound access at Stevenage.

At one stage traffic at the A1M southbound entry slip at junction J7 stretched up to junction 9 at Letchworth .

There are currently delays of 10 minutes against expected traffic.

Normal traffic conditions are expected to return by around 10am.
