Annie's Princes Palace Parties: Find out more

Annie's Princess Palace Parties is a newly established company offering much-loved characters for children's parties and events in our area.

Owner Annie has had more than three years experience in this exciting sector after studying acting at York University and working with children since 2016.

Annie's dream has always been to provide high quality character entertainers for children's parties and events - and is fast-earning a renowned reputation for her work and business.

Passionate Annie offers brilliant, fun-filled activities for families in Hitchin, Herts, Beds and Bucks. Annie's special characters include Frozen characters such as lead star Elsa - not to mention other well-known characters, with anything from Barbie to Ariel in Disney's animated feature The Little Mermaid and plenty in between.

Annie loves to spread the Princess or character magic wherever she can. Since Annie opened her company this September she has already volunteered her entertainment for free at two events which helped raise money for very well-known charities.

Speaking to Nub News busy Annie says: "We offer four different packages that include activities such as our characters leading themed games, interactive singing and dance alongs, parachute games, dancing with bubbles, glitter tattoos and lots more.

"I hope that parents have as much fun as their little ones when we come to entertain your lovely children during birthday parties and other special events. Either by getting to relax after all your event planning and seeing your children enjoy the fun and magic with us. Or by joining in with the excitement too!

"In these challenging times, during the cost of living crisis Annie's Princes Palace Parties offers affordable options to entertain your loved ones to make a memorable day even more special."

After A-Levels, hard-working Annie, 22, attended an acting course at York only for the pandemic to disrupt her university experience. Undaunted, determined Annie returned home and through a series of part-time jobs, kept her dream alive of launching a children's party business.

"I'm more of a do-er than an academic," confides inspirational Annie, who followed her dreams, despite the Covid crisis ruining her hopes of a fulfilling time at university. "It wasn't the best experience thanks to Covid but I made the most of learning how to act to my web camera!" upbeat Annie adds, but "I did enjoy my time there as a first year student and made plenty of friends during my time in York.

However after Annie's first year in her acting course, Annie developed an illness that took time for her to recover from. Bravely, Annie battled on, refusing to let her health prevent her from reaching her goal. In 2022 Annie started her first job as a children's party entertainer which has now lead to her establishing her own children's entertainment company this year.

Never afraid to throw herself into roles, Annie also worked at the nearby Rowntree's Chocolate Factory as a lively tour guide in York, a role she thoroughly enjoyed.

"I love what I do," says Annie, with such pride, "I enjoy dressing up and making little ones happy and seeing the joy and amazement on children's faces when they meet their favourite character in real life!"

Why not let the brilliant Annie make your kids overjoyed by providing entertainment as their favourite character for their birthday party or even a pre-Christmas event. Keep an eye on Annie's social media pages for more events for all to attend coming soon.
