Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information as part of continued enquiries into reports of indecent exposure in Ickleford.

Police received reports of indecent exposure on Saturday (12 July) at the recreation ground and a previous report of an incident on a bridlepath off Snailswell Lane last month.

Detective Inspector Katy Northway, from the North Herts Local Crime Unit, said: "Our enquiries are continuing at this time and a man, aged in his 60s, has been arrested in connection with the incidents. He has been bailed with strict conditions while further investigations are carried out.

"As part of our investigation, we'd be keen to hear from further witnesses or anyone with information. Were you in the area around the time? Did you witness any suspicious activity? If you can help, please get in contact quoting crime reference 41/52560/25." You can report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
