Appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage following collision in Hitchin

Police are appealing for dash cam, witnesses and information following a road traffic collision in Hitchin.

The collision occurred on Sunday 13 July at around 2.15pm and involved a green Suzuki SV650 motorcycle and a black Seat Arona.

The location of the collision was on St Michaels Road, close to the junction with Tennyson Avenue.

Officers attended the scene alongside colleagues form the East of England Ambulance Service and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital with suspected serious injuries.

Sergeant Luke Jenkins, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: "Our enquiries are continuing, and I am urging anyone with information to please come forward.

"Did you witness what happened, or have any further information to assist the investigation? If you have dash cam footage in relation to the collision, please upload this at: herts.police.uk/dashcamupload"
