Appeal for witnesses following indecent exposure in Hitchin

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of indecent exposure in Hitchin.
The incident occurred in Purwell Meadows, Purwell Lane at around 2.30pm on Wednesday (8 October).
It was reported a man, described as white, aged in his 30s, of a heavy build, with a dark beard and dark hair indecently exposed himself to a woman.
Detective Inspector Katy Northway said: "I am appealing for any witnesses of this incident to come forward or for anyone who saw anything suspicious in PurwellMeadows around the time of the incident to get in touch, you could have vital information for our investigation.
"Since this incident took place additional police patrols are being conducted in the area and we would ask you to get in contact if you witness any suspicious behaviour.
