Baldock Oktoberfest is returning next month with three sessions of Bavarian beer, live music and dancing.

The popular event will take place at Baldock Community Hub on Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10.

This year's Oktoberfest will feature the Munich Maestros, with G "Balstock" La Roche hosting all three sessions and helping to keep the crowds entertained.

Tickets include admission, a first drink and a stein for festival-goers to keep.

Friday and Saturday evening sessions cost £20, while the Saturday afternoon session is priced at £16.

A selection of Bavarian lager, wine, spirits, soft drinks and non-alcoholic alternatives will be available.

Organisers are also promising traditional singalongs and dancing, along with the return of the event's Oktoberfest conga.

Those attending are being encouraged to get into the spirit of the occasion by wearing lederhosen, dirndls and other Bavarian-inspired outfits.

As well as providing a weekend of entertainment, the event raises money for good causes in the local area.

All proceeds from Baldock Oktoberfest will support local charities and community organisations, as well as the Baldock Hardship Fund and community events.
