Bin collection changes for August bank holiday

Bin collections in Hitchin are set to be impacted by the bank holiday next week.

Following the summer bank holiday on Monday 26 August, household bin collections will take place one day later than normal for the rest of the week.

Collections will return to normal on Monday 2 September.

"Please ensure your bins are on the boundary of your property by 7am on the day of your collection," North Herts Council said.
