CCTV appeal after purse theft in Hitchin B&M store

Police are releasing CCTV images of two women they want to speak to after a purse theft in Hitchin. 

The incident occurred at around 1230pm on Wednesday, December 7.

An elderly lady was shopping in B&M on Brand Street. As she reached the checkout, she noticed that her handbag was missing from her trolley. 

Anyone who recognises them or has information about the theft is asked to please email [email protected]
