Citizens Advice North Hertfordshire Fundraising Team are holding a quiz this evening, Wednesday.

They will be putting their general knowledge to the test and raising vital funds for their essential services in Hitchin and north Herts.

If you would like to join in, let them know, and you will be sent a Zoom link.

Citizens Advice North Hertfordshire is an independent local charity.

During the last year, they helped 6,587 people with 14,256 issues.

They answered 3,246 calls – a 20 per cent increase demand from a year ago.

They provide free flexible advice in many local settings with offices in Hitchin, Letchworth and Royston, plus outreach locations.

They offer advice via telephone, webchat and email.

Their website helps people to find the information they need online and they offer specialist advice on benefits, debt, housing repossessions for debt, managing money, and energy advice through a wide variety of projects.

Their 78 dedicated volunteers provided at least £590,000 in donated hours over the last year. Their 17 staff have a huge range and depth of expertise.
