Cllr Daniel Allen, Leader of North Herts Council said: "We have noted the content of the devolution White Paper and now need to take some time to further read through the detail and consider what the proposals mean for our communities and the impact they may have on localised decision-making.

"As part of this, we will be talking to our partners from across the district and the county regarding what potential options and opportunities the proposals may create for North Herts before being able to comment fully."
