(Hitchin Town Statement) We are delighted to announce that 9-year-old Dakota Johnson has won our 2025/26 pre-match warm-up shirt design competition. With 33.61% of the votes, Dakota's Design 1 emerged victorious after an exciting public vote, pipping Ollie's design 2 by just three votes, 1211 to 1208.

Across our three social media platforms - Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram - we saw an incredible response, with over 3,600 votes cast. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and supported this initiative.

Dakota's winning concept will now move into the final design and production phases with our teamwear partner HOPE + GLORY ahead of the new season before being made available for purchase in the club shop ahead of the 2025/26 season. We can't wait to see our players and fans proudly wearing this fantastic creation.

A huge well done is also due to our other three finalists Ollie, Neve and Eleanor. Thank you for being involved in this competition and we look forward to welcoming all of our finalists and their families to our final home fixture of the season vs. Bedford Town.

The overwhelming engagement from our community highlights the strong connection between our supporters and the club. This initiative would not have been possible without the enthusiastic participation of our nearly 200 entrants, and the 3,600+ voters.
