Two North Hertfordshire mums who run an award-winning festival for children under five are to work with an international toy giant for their 2024 events. 

Kerrie Goude, from Hitchin, and Maddy Griffiths, from Knebworth, who launched TOTFest in 2018, will be showcasing LEGO® DUPLO® across the five sites where the events will be taking place next year.  

The LEGO Group will have its own dedicated tent in which it will be showcasing its colourful DUPLO bricks for children to play with. 

Kerrie said: "As the festival grows, we have been looking at bringing key brands on board. DUPLO was high on that list as it is so popular with our target age group, so we are delighted to have them join us." 

TOTFest was started by Kerrie and Maddy when the two friends struggled to find suitable outdoor activities for their young families. After trialling a smaller indoor event, they launched the popular summer festival that has attracted more than 52,000 people through its gates. 

For the single ticket price, families have access to the full range of activities, without having to pay anything extra once on site. Kerrie and Maddy have also worked hard to ensure that there are no long queues that can be off-putting for youngsters. 

"Each year, the festival gets bigger – we have five sites booked next year, from Cheshire to Berkshire. Working with an iconic brand like DUPLO demonstrates how far we have come from our first event. 

"We are now a recognised name. While we had discussed working with big brands previously, it was important to us that we got TOTFest to a place where we were both incredibly proud of it – a recognised event in its own right and something that our customers truly loved and shouted about.

TOTFest will be visiting Wetherby Racecourse, West Yorkshire; Newmarket Racecourse, Suffolk; Royal Windsor Racecourse, Berkshire; Hertfordshire County Showground; and Chester Racecourse, Cheshire in 2024.
