With the clocks going forward last weekend and Easter already been and gone, spring has truly sprung, even if the weather doesn't feel like it.
With many in our area now considering a spot of spring cleaning, here are the opening times of the nearest recycling centre to Hitchin.
Namely, Letchworth recycling centre on Blackhorse Road.
In order to avoid delays find out when the site opens during the week, in order for you to stagger your trips away from the weekend.
Don't forget it you are bringing a van or trailer you'll need a van permit.
Business waste? They won't accept it. Commercial waste at the site.
DIY or home improvement waste? They only accept a limited amount - if you have too much you may be turned away.
