Four men have been charged in connection with a string of residential burglaries across Hertfordshire, as part of an investigation into suspected organised criminal activity.
The arrests were made on 3 April and 8 April following a police operation examining nearly 40 burglaries reported between December 2025 and March 2026. Officers say more than 30 high-value vehicles were stolen during the incidents.
Those charged with conspiracy to commit dwelling burglary and conspiracy to steal motor vehicles are:
- Shay Hollis, 22, of Brache Close, Redbourn
- Patrick Peters, 29, of Withers Mead, London
- Archie Lucas, 19, of Buckingham Road, Borehamwood
- Joshua Fallon, 25, of Thieves Lane, Hertford
Hollis also faces additional charges relating to driving and insurance offences.
All four men have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on 16 April, with the exception of Lucas, who was granted bail.
A fifth man, Darren Arnold, 30, of Westcroft Close, London, had previously been charged and remanded in connection with the same investigation.
Detective Constable Edward Law, from Operation Linkage – Hertfordshire Constabulary's response to dwelling burglary – said: "Dwelling burglary is one of our main priorities and can have a devastating effect on victims.
"We are constantly monitoring the county's roads to detect criminals coming into Hertfordshire from other areas to commit burglary and other crimes, and we will relentlessly pursue them until they are brought to justice."
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
