A free community tech clinic held at Fairfield Pavilion Cafe has been hailed a great success after local residents came along for friendly, practical help with their phones, tablets, laptops and everyday technology questions.

The clinic was run by Luke Vincent, founder of Confident With Tech, a local service created to help people feel more confident using technology in a relaxed, non-judgemental way. The session gave residents the chance to pop in, enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of the Pavilion Cafe, and get support with the tech issues that can often feel frustrating or overwhelming.

From simple phone settings and app questions to general advice on staying safe online, the clinic provided a friendly space for people to ask for help without pressure or embarrassment.

Luke Vincent said: "It was brilliant to see such a great turnout for the first Fairfield tech clinic. Technology can be confusing, especially when everything seems to be moving online, so it's really important that people have somewhere they can go for patient, friendly support. I'm really grateful to everyone who came along and to Pavilion Cafe for helping make it happen."

Following the success of the first session, more free tech clinics are now planned for the future, giving local residents further opportunities to get help with their devices and digital questions.

The next free tech clinic at Fairfield Pavilion Cafe will take place next Friday, 26 June, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. Residents are welcome to pop in with their tech questions, whether it's help with a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, emails, photos, apps, online forms, or general digital confidence.

The clinics are free to attend and are designed to support the local community, particularly those who may struggle with technology or feel unsure where to turn for help.
