Hitchin is gearing up to host its first Youth Showcase Event this weekend.

The eagerly-awaited event will be a celebration of our 'Youth' in Hitchin and surrounding area.

Organisers say there will be a fantastic variety of local organisations there on the day - including Hitchin District Scouts and Guides (along with their climbing wall), Showtime Circus, Hitchin Youth Brass Band, Hitchin Creative, Hitchin Town FC and many more.

There will also be performances and presentations from groups on the stage area at points throughout the day.
