Getting your A-level or GCSE results? Services for Young People is here to help!
Young people who are getting their A-level and GCSE results this summer can get support from Hertfordshire County Council Services for Young People (SfYP) as they consider their next steps
Whatever the results, SfYP advisers are on hand with the latest information and impartial advice to help young people make the best choices for them.
Whether the results are better or worse than expected, or they want to rethink their plans, they can help young people explore their options at this pivotal time.
One-to-one personalised advice and guidance is available from SfYP in schools and at SfYP Access Point Projects across Hertfordshire, which are all open for face-to-face support. Young people can also speak to an adviser on the phone if preferred. They can drop into their local Access Point Project or make an appointment by contacting their local SfYP team (contact details below).
Young people can also register for jobs, apprenticeships or traineeships to get job alerts in selected occupational categories via text or email. They will receive job details, including how to apply, get access to an online CV-builder and further support.
Hertfordshire County Council's Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Families, Cllr Fiona Thomson, said:
"I would like to wish all of Hertfordshire's students awaiting exam results the very best of luck. Getting your results marks the start of a new chapter in your life. You can count on Services for Young People to have the expertise to guide you through all the options available to you. Whatever next step you decide, on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council, I wish you all the very best for the future."
