A missing 16-year-old girl from Hitchin has been found safe and well.

The teenager with links to Stevenage has been found after a police appeal.

The teen had last been seen at her home address on Wednesday evening (April 24) and was believed to have left her home at around 6am on Thursday, (April 25).

A Hertfordshire police spokesperson had previously said officers were "growing increasingly concerned for her welfare".
