HITCHIN: Do you have an old bike cluttering up your garage or shed?

Then why not donate it to a good cause with Blueharts Hockey Club and Hitchin Cricket Club.

This Sunday [January 16] from 930am the clubs are hosting a bike donation point in the car park at Lucas Lane Sports Club.

Blueharts and HCC wrote: "We are pleased to announce we are partnering with Herts Disability Sports Foundationsability Sports Foundation in their 'Bikes without Barriers' campaign.

"Ros from HDSF will be there with her van so please bring any bikes along and leave them with her.

"The scheme takes bicycles that need repairing or those that are just not used, and with the help of Paul's Bikes, we fix and/or adapt them for use by children with disabilities or for those whose budget cannot stretch for these expensive pieces of equipment."

So, if you have a bike that is taking up room in the shed or the garage - don't take it to the tip - why not drop it off at Blueharts on Sunday.
