Grove Road closure adds to Hitchin rush-hour traffic

Water works have closed Grove Road near the junction with Woolgrave Road over the weekend and on Monday morning leading to slow moving traffic across the town.

Berry House vets - based on Nightingale Road - described "pretty horrific jams this morning".

Google Maps estimated that the journey by car between Hitchin and Letchworth would take 40 minutes (at 9am)
