Three years of awards were packaged together by a construction company to build a winning evening for its supply chain partners.

The pandemic forced the annual Willmott Dixon London & East Supply Chain Awards to be put on ice, but they returned with a bumper celebration of partnership working.

Steven Doyle, supply chain manager at Willmott Dixon London & East, said: "It was great to have everyone back together again.

"So much has happened over the past few years and it was an excellent opportunity to catch up with all our friends and colleagues."

The awards at Plaisterers' Hall in London celebrated the businesses that provide goods and services for the Hitchin-based company's sites.

With no opportunity to publicly recognise their leading partners since 2019, the event featured accolades for each missing year.

"Just because we hadn't been able to hold the awards since 2020 didn't mean we wanted to leave anyone out from the celebrations, so we decided to roll three years into one.

"Our supply chain partners work very closely with us, and it's thanks in no small part to their efforts that our projects run so smoothly in preconstruction and on site.

"It was a great opportunity to get all of our works, goods and design partners into one room to celebrate the successes, update them on our business and to thank them for their collaboration, hard work and support over the past three years."

The winners were:

2020 Goods Partner of the Year: Tarkett Limited (Maidstone, Kent)

2020 Design Partner of the Year: Child Graddon Lewis Limited (Aldgate, London)

2020 Works Partner of the Year: Newtownstewart Limited (Hemel Hempstead, Herts)
