Hitchin: Burglary on Old Hale Way

Between Tuesday, January 31 and Wednesday, February 1 offenders broke into a shed in the allotments on Old Hale Way.

Herts Police are calling for witnesses, saying: "If you have any information please contact the Police on 101 quoting crime reference 41/8936/23."

Officers also provided advice, adding; "Always lock shed doors and secure with two hasps and staples and closed shackle padlocks or an alarmed padlock.

"Property marking your items is advisable and some tools can be painted with your name or postcode."
