With less than 10 days before Christmas Hitchin went full on over the weekend with the support of the wonderful folk of Visit Hitchin.

Before you even reached the square Hitchin's Christmas organ signalled the special events on show.

On a bustling and sunny Sunday, the town square was complemented with a snow globe for children to jump around in, vintage motorbikes on display and the lovely animals from Ark Farm.

Santa's grotto again proved popular as it opened for another charity weekend - next Saturday and Sunday (21/22nd) is your last chance to visit the big man.
