Save the date for Christmas carols at St Mary's Church.

Hitchin Chamber Orchestra presents: Christmas and all that Jazz at our town centre's iconic church.

HCO are a friendly string orchestra based in Hitchin aiming to present high standard concerts in the town's lovely venues including a festive treat for all the family next month.

The music they play covers a wide variety of different styles and genres and the orchestra often collaborates with guest instrumentalists and singers - as well as carols and Christmas schmaltz.

The eagerly-awaited event will feature:

Corelli: Christmas Concerto

Leroy Anderson: Sleigh Ride

Traditional: Carols (and Christmas schmaltz)

So, save the date when HCO plays St Mary's a week before Christmas on Saturday, December 18 at 430pm and 730pm.

Tickets £5 for children and students

Adults £10

Family tickets £25
