Christmas is coming!

Hitchin's renowned Christmas Market is set to return on the cobbles of our town centre.

The two week event will be free of charge to attend and boast an array of Christmas market chalets.

Open seven days a week from 11am to 7pm, German style chalets will be seen in Market Place.

The popular event runs from Wednesday, December 8 through until Tuesday, December 21.

Hitchin BID said: "We're sprinkling the festive cheer across the cobbles this year as our Christmas Market makes a welcome return to the town centre."

Chalets will be filled with plenty of options for Christmas presents as well as tempting seasonal treats and delightful festive gifts, homewares, beautiful clothing and delicious food and drink.

With live music, Christmas gifts and mulled wine Hitchin's Christmas Market has something for everyone - and a great way to kick-off the festive season.

You may even meet Father Christmas in the market square.
