HITCHIN: Could the Iceland store in our town centre be earmarked for closure?

With the Iceland store in Stevenage town centre closing permanently close last month, could their Hitchin shop be next?

The site in Churchgate next to Hitchin Market is still trading as normal, but with the company citing 'logistical issues' for the closure of their flagship store in North Herts in January, could our town's Iceland be next for the chop?

Iceland are remaining tight-lipped, having ignored Nub News requests for comment so far. But we will keep pushing for an answer.
