Hitchin: Don't forget the brilliant FoodFest is on this weekend in town!

Don't forget Hitchin FoodFest is back in the Market Place and High Street this weekend!

As well as showcasing our local eateries, the event will be offering the best in street food and local produce.

There will be activities in the ever-popular Taster Tent with special events including a Cheese & Beer event in conjunction with Halsey's.

The Hitchin FoodFest has fast become one of the most popular events in the Hertfordshire foodie calendar and attracts a vast number of visitors throughout the weekend.

Organisers said: "We aim to promote the best food and drink at the festival and are therefore looking for high quality, local well-sourced Street Food and seasonal Local Produce for this event.

"Traders are selected on the basis of quality and integrity of produce."

Hitchin Food Fest: Saturday (September 4) and Sunday (September 5) 10am – 4pm
