Save the date as the eagerly-awaited Hitchin Beer and Cider Festival returns this autumn!

The event will be hosted at its home of the last few years, Hitchin Rugby Club, based at King George V Playing Fields off Old Hale Way.

After not being able to have a festival in 2020 due to the pandemic, a smaller than usual event is planned between September 23 and September 25.

The event will have Real Ale, Real Cider, KeyKeg, International Beers and Mead in five sessions over three days. Tickets are on sale but hurry fast!

Organisers said: "We couldn't invite you in June, so who's for an autumn festival?

"As usual it will be hosted at Hitchin Rugby Club, with exact arrangements being worked out now.

"We will be an all-ticket event. Until they're on sale, if you're a Facebook user, please go to @NHCAMRA and keep an eye open for updates."

Sessions available:

Session 1 Thursday – 5pm to 10pm

Session 2 Friday – 12pm to 430pm

Session 3 Friday – 530pm to 10pm

Session 4 Saturday – 12pm to 430pm

Session 5 Saturday – 530pm to 10pm

All tickets must be purchased in advance: entry is £5 or if you are a member of CAMRA, Hitchin Rugby Club or Hitchin Round Table the cost is £2.50.
