A man from Hitchin has been banned from driving after a crash left a motorcyclist with serious injuries including a broken leg.

Paul Lyden, aged 43, of Mowbray Gardens, Hitchin pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by careless driving following the incident at around 1pm on 25 June 2023.

Lyden appeared at Stevenage Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 22 May where he pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by careless driving and having a faulty tyre.
