Get set for North Hertfordshire's First Pride coming soon.

North Herts Pride are hosting North Hertfordshire's first pride in Hitchin on September 17.

The event will start with a Pride Market in Hitchin's Market Place from 11am - 5pm and will have stalls run by, or for, the LGBTQIA+ community.

"We're really excited to be holding North Hertfordshire's first pride to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and the diversity and inclusion in North Herts," says Kerrie Portman, North Herts Pride Director.

"Having a safe space, support and local connection is incredibly important, something I think we've all been reminded of in recent years. It's an honour to be part of creating that."

The celebrations will continue from 8pm onwards with an afterparty in Pitcher & Piano with drag queens and music.
