Hitchin shoppers may have noticed a new addition to the town's shopping scene with Hitchin Bazaar opening last month.

It replaces the mobility equipment supplier – "Cane and Able" – that used to provide accessibility devices such as walking aids, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and daily living aids for people with reduced mobility or health conditions.

Hitchin Nub News caught up with Mustafa, the owner of the new shop, to talk about his vision for the business.

Mustafa, from Stevenage, along with two members of staff runs the shop that aims to provide an independent fruit and vegetable option right on the high street.

He explained how the good foot traffic along the food is what attracted him to set up shop on Bancroft.

Hitchin Bazaar is open daily from 7am to 7pm (closes 5pm Sunday)
