Customers of GoGetters delivery service in Hitchin are set for a Christmas surprise.

Until Christmas Eve, its drivers will be delivering a random range of presents from Santa along with takeaway and grocery orders.

Giving away the gifts to end the year on a positive and to thank all of the community for supporting them and the local restaurants during 2021.

Goodies on offer as part of the Christmas giveaway by the business include the new PS5 games console, smart watches and laptops.

Managing director Owen Barrow said: "We're so thankful to all of our amazing customers who have ordered from us this year.

"It's been difficult for everyone, especially in the hospitality industry, so we're so grateful for the support.

"That's why we've put a big chunk of our budget into giving back and spreading some joy. So from everyone here at GoGetters, including myself, we wish everyone a safe and joyful Christmas."

GoGetters, which launched in the town in August 2019, operates via an app and its website gogetters.co.uk.
