Officers investigating a burglary in Hitchin are releasing images of some of the stolen jewellery items in a bid to trace them.

Between 245pm and 650pm on Sunday, October 29, a house was broken into on Blackhorse Lane in Hitchin.

Several items of jewellery were reported as stolen, and PC Sophie Dinak-Martin, from the Local Crime Unit, said: "Our enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch.

"We are releasing images of the items so that we can hopefully trace them and return them to their rightful owner.

"Have you seen the items discarded anywhere, or seen them for sale? Please get in touch if you have information that could assist our enquiries."

Anyone with information is asked to email PC Dinak-Martin at [email protected]

Or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/86549/23
