With lockdown thankfully now over, Christmas is coming - and we want to celebrate that fact at Hitchin Nub News!

It's been a long year for everyone, and while this Christmas will be looking different from other years - with our town in Tier 2 for the holidays and into early 2020 - Nub News is looking for brighten up your day.

We are asking for businesses and residents in our area to show us how YOU have decorated YOUR window displays, or the outside of your house.

As you can see from our picture that we took on Tuesday evening accompanying this piece, a house in Milestone Road has set the early pace for the best decorated home or building in Hitchin!

We want to spread some Christmas cheer and help get people in the festive spirit by sharing pictures of bright and colourful window displays from shops, businesses and homes across our area.

It could be anything from a wreath or bow to a full Christmas display in the window - we want to see your pictures and share them online.

With many shops taking part in our town's Christmas Tree festival we want to see the brightest and best pictures - so please do get in touch!

Email your pictures to the regional editor, [email protected] or tweet us @HitchinNubNews.
