Hitchin: Motorist receives treatment after car overturns causing road closure

A car overturned in Hitchin at the weekend which caused a road to close.
Police have confirmed to Hitchin Nub News that they were called at around 550pm on Saturday, following an incident in London Road, Hitchin.
It was reported that a Citroen C1 had overturned and was blocking the carriageway.
Officers attended, alongside the fire and ambulance services with the victim receiving treatment at the scene.
The vehicle was recovered and the road was cleared by 740pm.
A passer-by told Hitchin Nub News: "By the looks of it the car has gone up the verge, hit a tree and rolled."
