A Hitchin business busy working on technological solutions to Covid has so impressed MP Bim Afolami he has arranged for a government minister to visit.

Mr Afolami hailed 'Adapt ems', a privately owned contract electronics manufacturer serving customers in a variety of high-tech sectors including manufacture of medical products.

The manufacturing business in Wilbury Way offers services ranging from simple electromechanical assembly through to building complex Medical products.

"Their business is doing brilliantly well, and they are working on technological solutions to Covid testing but they talked openly about the challenges they have in finding the right skills locally, explained Mr Afolami, adding, "I am working on them on this, and I am arranging a visit from a government minister in the coming weeks."
