Over 50 and still love playing sport, particularly badminton?

You're invited to play badminton today, [Monday, November 1] at an open afternoon.

The event is being held at the North Herts Leisure Centre and is hosted by the Pembroke 50+ Badminton Club.

The club told Hitchin Nub News: "If you're a senior pensioner, male or female, who has previously played badminton we'd like you to join those of us still enjoying our sport, but who are not quite as fit as in the past.

"Our ages range from 70 to 90. We play mixed doubles on two courts on Monday afternoons in friendly games for pleasure and health benefits."

If you are interested, the club would be pleased to meet you. Email [email protected] to learn more.

The club also conscious of the need for those 'at risk' to take appropriate precautions.
