Hitchin railway station 'assault': Do you recognise this man Herts Police want to speak with

British Transport Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to after reports of an alleged assault at Hitchin railway station.

Officers say that shortly before 1am on Monday, February 25, two groups of people were arguing on platform two.

A man in one of the groups then allegedly punched two people from the other group without provocation.

The man then headed to the taxi rank, before leaving in a taxi with other people from his group.

If you witnessed the incident, or have any information which may help the police investigation, you are asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference 32 of 25/02/2024.
